SMTP -Auth (SMTP -Authentification) alias ASMTP is a protocol, that prevents the abuse of your e-mail by requiring the clients using e-mail programs to put in a username and password before sending e-mails. In order to make use of this protocol you need to reconfigure your e-mail program (Outlook, Thunderbird), so that it can support ASMTP; and so that it will require the use of a password in order to send e-mails via the outgoing server.
