How can I set up alternative sender addresses in the STRATO Communicator?


Set up one or a number of alternative e-mail sender addresses. Send e-mails using your company's e-mail address as your sender address for example."; To set up one or a number of alternative sender addresses, please proceed as follows:

To set up new sender addresses, click "Options" -> "Messages" in the menu bar on the left and then "Alternative Sender Addresses" in the window on the right.

 

 

Enter the e-mail address that you want to define as an alternative sender address in the input box under "Set up alternative sender address".

Remark:
Please ensure that you enter an existing e-mail address.

Then click "Add Alternative Sender". This will add your alternative e-mail address. Additionally a PIN is generated that you will require authenticating yourself.

 

 

Confirm the pop-up window with a click on "OK".

You will receive a confirmation via e-mail. Retrieve your e-mails from the e-mail account you have just entered and copy the PIN from the mail into the input field behind the e-mail address that is now displayed.

 

 

Confirm your input with a click on "Activate PIN". Authentication is now complete and the alternative e-mail address is set up.

To delete an alternative address, check the corresponding checkbox to the address you want to delete and then click "Delete".
