You can very easily create one or more slide shows on your website to present your photos to your visitors. Each slide consists of up to 48 images in which you can incorporate great transition effects. You can also create headings and sub-headings to add to your images as well as a background melody.

 

To add a slide show to your website, simply go to step 3. Outline. Click on the page under which you would like the slide show to appear then click to the right New Page. A pop up window will appear with a number of selections, from here you can click Slide Show and give it a customised name if you wish. Finally click on "OK". Please do not forget to click on "Save" before clicking "Continue".

 

 

Once you have clicked on Continue you will be taken to step 4. Contents. Click on the correct tab in your menu bar or choose the correct page from the drop-down menu. Under the tab Contents you will be given the opportunity to Add Images.

 

 

By clicking on Add Images you will be taken to the MediaPool. Here you can either add images from the LivePages Image Archive or select your own photos from your computer.

 

To upload your own pictures, click on the Add New Images on the bottom right corner of MediaPool. In the new window that opens, you will have the possibility to locate on your computer the particular photos you would like to upload.

 

 

Click OK to embed the image into your slide show. You can edit the images in the sidebar to the left.

 

Under the tab Contents you have the following treatment options:

 

Add Pictures: Click on the link to add more pictures to the current slide show.

 

Sort Images: Click on this link to change the order of the pictures in the slide show. Simply drag and drop the photos into the desired order.

 

Change image: Click here to change the current picture to another picture located in the MediaPool.

 

Select a fade effect on the displayed image from the drop-down menu.

 

Scale: Enter the desired width or height of the image. The new value is automatically scaled in order to avoid distortion.

 

Rotate/Flip: Here you can rotate or mirror the picture.

 

Select background sound: Click here if you would like to add a sound from your LivePages MediaPool.

 

Under the tab Settings you have the following treatment options:

 

Image change: From the drop-down menu, select how many seconds between an image change.

 

Fade effect for all pictures: Choose a default fade effect for all images.

 

At the end of the slide show: From the drop-down menu, define what should occur at the end of the slide show.

 

Select whether the slide show should open in a new window or within the page.

 

To the right of the screen is your slide show. Above and below each picture are text fields in which you can enter a title and description. Simply click with the mouse in the text box to edit it, don´t forget to save your text!

 

Under each picture you will find buttons that allow you to jump to the next or previous image.
